Calgary, Alberta (March 27, 2019) — Avmax is happy to announce the addition of the Dash 8-400 to its Transport Canada (TCCA) Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) rating at it’s Calgary Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) base.
Avmax’s Calgary MRO already has approvals for the Dash 8-100/200/300/Q Series as well as CRJ 100/200/700/900 aircraft. This new rating will match the capabilities of Avmax’s other MROs in Great Falls, Montana and Jacksonville, Florida.
“This new capability for our Calgary location is a natural progression from the classic Dash 8 aircraft.” said Al Young, Vice President of Global Operations “As the Q400 becomes more popular, Avmax wants to keep with the trends and be there for our airlines for all their maintenance needs.”
There are 480 active Q400 aircraft in the world right now, with 119 of those located in Canada.
